The closing event of the 2025/2026 Fellows in residency at Istituto Svizzero, curated by Lorenzo Benedetti. The title draws inspiration from the homonymous novel by Raymond Roussel, in which a garden becomes a space of apparitions, suspended figures, and forms capable of resurfacing from different temporalities: an isolated yet multiple space where past and future continuously mirror one another. Within this context, the interventions of the Fellows will inhabit the spaces and garden of Villa Maraini, unfolding as temporary and layered presences among images, bodies, sounds, and memories reactivated through their time spent in Rome.
